STEPS ON HOW TO OPEN THE LEGAL SERVICES INFORMATION SYSTEM (LSIS)

1. Open this website:

1.1) Here is how to copy-paste the above website link  https://lsis.depedcar.ph/  to a Google browser:

2. Type the the SCHOOL DepEd email (i.e. schoolID@deped.gov.ph) when the LSIS website has opened.

3. The password of the school DepEd email issued to you before which is used in opening the account at gmail.com (Google) website CANNOT be used at this LSIS website although same school DepEd email is used.

4. So, if password for the LSIS is forgotten, click on "FORGOT PASSWORD." Click it to request only once because it will be deactivated if you typed the wrong password many times; or if you request for 'Forgot Password' many times without waiting for the first request to be acted.

5. If asked to type a DepEd email where the reset password and the next instructions will be sent, type your School DepEpEd email (ex. schoolid@deped.gov.ph) which YOU CAN OPEN at gmail.com within 24 hours to check if the reset password of the LSIS account has been sent.

6. Whatever you do, take time to read and follow the instructions appearing on screen or on your email and always check emails regularly on your employee DepEd email or school DepEd email inbox.

Note: After you have updated your data in the LSIS, do not forget to click the SAVE button (colored green).

REMEMBER

1. Do not be confused with the EMPLOYEE DepEd email (i.e. firstname.lastname@deped.gov.ph) with the SCHOOL DepEd email (i.e. schoolid@deped.gov.ph).

1.1. If you see texts connected with the "@" symbol, it is an email address. Ex. schoolid@deped.gov.ph.

1.2. If you see texts connected with all periods (.) without the "@" symbol, it is a website address (also called link). Ex. gmail.com, or https://lsis.depedcar.ph/, or lsis.depedcar.ph, or depedcarifugao.com, or portal.depedcar.ph

1.3. Website address is to be copy-pasted at a URL of a browser to be able to open the website while email address is used in emailing or as username of a website where you have registered or signed-up. Password to a website where you registered an email address cannot be used to all websites requiring same email address. Although you will be using the same email address on all the websites, every website address is different which is why you are required to register or sign-up to create an account for that website; unless you made all your passwords to those websites the same. 

Ex. The SCHOOL DepEd email password issued to you by the Division Office for the website gmail.com CANNOT be used as your password for the LSIS website lsis.depedcar.ph, unless you registered same password when you activated your school LSIS account at https://lsis.depedcar.ph/ before on January 2021.

2. It is important that you can be able to open both the EMPLOYEE DepEd email and the SCHOOL DepEd email at the website gmail.com (Google) because it is here where verifications are sent for any online transactions. . All schools have been registered already to the LSIS website with the username or email format schoolid@deped.gov.ph during the LSIS accounts registration and activation on January 2021 if you can still remember. Therefore, every time you will open the LSIS website at https://lsis.depedcar.ph/, just type your school ID with the format schoolid@deped.gov.ph as LSIS username or email, and the password to the LSIS website which you have typed also before during the LSIS accounts registration and activation on January 2021. If you have forgotten your LSIS password, just click on 'FORGOT PASSWORD.' When required to type an email where verification or reset instructions will be sent after clicking the 'Forgot Password,' type your school DepEd email then open it at gmail.com to see the reset instructions sent. So, you need to open your Employee DepEd email or School DepEd email inbox.

How to view the School DepEd email password sent to your Employee DepEd email previously:

If you are the designated School CPP Coordinator for the LSIS who registered sometime in January 2021 for the activation of the LSIS account, you can search the School DepEd email account password sent to you before using the search box within your Employee DepEd email account. Just type the Division ITO employee DepEd email (firstname.lastname@deped.gov.ph) or any keywords like School DepEd Email newest at the search box then press enter to display all emails from the Division ITO. To view newest or older emails click on the less than ( < ) or greater than ( > ) symbols at the upper right corner just below DepEd logo and your profile picture.
